Esren, i noticed ur guitar avatar, do u play? ...........I've been learning for a while.

Yeah, I've been playing for a few years.

I've been playing for just over a year. it's tuff isn't it? I know 16 cords and 2 scales Am penatonic and CM scale in the first position. I'm working on playing stairway to heaven. Can you tell me a few more scales that would be good to add to what i'm doing already?

Up until now, I've been doing mostly rhythm guitar, so I'm in the process of learning scales too . I play an SSS Squire Strat and an Epiphone Les Paul Jr for now, eventually I might go for a mid- to high-grade Telecaster. If not for the awful tuners and pickups, the Strat really isn't a bad guitar. I do know Pentatonic in Em off the top of my head though:

Pentatonic in Em ascending, numbers represent frets:

Sixth (low E) string: 0, 3, 5, 7
Fifth string: 5, 7
Fourth string: 5, 7, 9
Third string: 7, 9
Second string: 8, 10, 12
First (high E)string: 10, 12

cool, thanks i'm gonna add this to my practice too....... I eventualy want a better guitar but this will do for now.
